At Bettadamalali Estate Homestay, you are welcomed into the lap of nature with open branches of the huge tree canopy where sun light plays hide n seek onto the coffee plantations.
More than a century old Estate, the Homestay is nestled in the midst of nature with more than 350 acres of a working coffee plantation. Coffee produced here is one of the best and has won many awards.
The plantation is literally in the lap of nature surrounded by mountains on almost all sides, 25 kms west off Chickmangalur town - at an altitude of 1120 meters, with warm winters, cool summers and Malnad monsoon from June to September.
The sights, sounds, fragrances and a walk in nature is nourishment to your soul. Nature has a way of its own to enter into a human heart, to make them feel blessed to its healing power, whatever your mood, you in nature just makes something deep inside so connected and relaxed. Nature with its vast expanse just stops you in your life, lets you heal and come alive with beautifully rejuvenating you.

Homestay has 2 livings rooms, equiped with TV, and very spacious common areas.
Bettadamalali estate homestay, honours the guests with its local homemade, lipsmacking malnad cuisine. The delicacies are native to the area and include veg and non veg preparations. Freshly procurred veggies from the estate, with fresh grounded masala's is what we use. As a special request we also entertain Jain cuisine.
It will be a mix of continental as well as local food delicacies. An opportunity for our guests to taste and enjoy our local food.
The Malnad cuisine is mostly based on ingredients which are cultivated or obtained locally. This is what gives the Malnad cuisine its uniqueness which is native to the area around.
Most of what we use is the fresh local produce from our village and our own Estate, The milk we source is from own Dairy in our estate.
Food prepared is by the hosts themselves and its what they eat, a very keen eye and years of cooking expereince cultivated from many generations.
Walk up to the boating lake, a pleasant walk with a slight winding road, suited for everybody in the family, 60 minutes. Ofcourse, if you wish you can swim in the lake as well, provided you first wear a lifejacket and take all precautions.
Trek through the plantation, go around a small very private lake, yes! swim if you wish and reach the paddy fields. One and half an hour, Trekking boots needed.
Best view only after a lil hard climb, this trek to a mountain in the estate is adventerous with a lovely sunset, provided the weather is nice. THree Hours, Little difficult trek, suited for healthy folks, Trekking boots needed

Boating in a pleasant lake surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains. A joyfull experience for family and friends. Enjoy to your own timings with family and friends, life jackets are compulsory and will be provided with a guide.
A village trip can be organized depending on the total number of people, wherein you can see the village, its temple, school and interact with the locals about the living.
Drive through the estate and knows it cultivating patterns and working culture.
As part of indoor games, we provide, chess, carrom board, cards and many more. Tv is available in the common area for the guests to mingle and enjoy.
The homestay vast outdoor space for playing and fun, Basket ball ring, Badminton, Trampoline for kids is available. Go ahead play cricket or football as well. take a cycle and let go your free spirit, wander around.
Rs 2750/ stay, breakfast and dinner - inclusive. if lunch required additional Rs 350/ will be charged extra for adults and children 10 years and above.
Children aged between 7 nd 9 will be charged Rs 2400/ stay, breakfast and dinner is inclusive. lunch will be provided charging Rs 350/ extra.
Children between 4 and 6 will be charged Rs 1750/ stay, breakfast and dinner inclusive, if lunch required Rs 250/ will be charged extra. Children below 4 years no charges.
NOTE: Transport will be provided from Chikmagalur to the estate with additional charges.
